ITINERARY & HIGHLIGHTS

Bus & 1 x driver & 2 x guides, picnic lunch

The Spit Bridge to Manly walk is a beautiful coastal walk, taking in quiet Harbour beaches, scenic bushland, picturesque bays, and panoramic vantage points.

The walk forms part of the iconic 20 km Manly Scenic Walkway that runs from the Spit Bridge all the way to Manly North Head, and is widely considered one of the best coastal walks in Sydney.

There are so many things to see and do along the coastal walking track between the Spit Bridge and Manly Beach, we’re going to focus on the following 10 highlights and landmarks:

The Spit Bridge, Clontarf Reserve, Castle Rock Beach, Grotto, Point Lighthouse, Washaway Beach, Dobroyd Head Lookouts, Reef Beach and Forty Baskets Beach, North Harbour Reserve, Fairlight Walk and Manly Wharf

There will be 3 guides in total - as we walk from The Spit to Manly, our driver will not be walking with the group but instead will stay with the vehicle. Our 2 guides will join the group on the walk.

There will also be a picnic lunch provided.

Our driver will go pick up our lunch which will likely be either from a local bakery or Subway Catering and meet us all in Manly. After a picnic lunch in the park area near Manly Wharf, there will be a free time for the students to either grab a quick swim or to look at the local shops before departing for the transfer back to the University.
