Please join us for this special 1.5 hour author panel and writing workshop with six writers and poets from across WestWords programming. Perfect for emerging writers to attend, our panellists will discuss how their identity and personal experiences influence their writing, and their individual approaches to writing about their communities creatively but authentically. Across the six featured writers, the panel will be able to speak to experiences across the CALD communities, LGBTQIA+ community, disability representation, and the intersectionality of these communities. A workshop competent to this event will offer tools to assist emerging writers when writing from a place of identity. Come listen, participate, and hear more about what opportunities WestWords provides for emerging writers that you can be a part of.
