IYSSE Weekly Meeting

We insist that all the great problems confronting humanity in the 21st century—war, poverty, climate change, police brutality and social inequality, the drive toward fascism and dictatorship by governments internationally—are the outcome of capitalism, and can only be addressed through the taking of political power by the working class and its establishment of a socialist society, founded on genuine equality.

The International Youth and Students for Social Equality is the student and youth movement of the Socialist Equality Parties. Part of the International Committee of the Fourth International, the World Party of Socialist Revolution founded by Leon Trotsky in 1938. Its aim is to unite the international working class, on the basis of a socialist and internationalist program, to put an end to the capitalist system and establish socialism on a world scale.

Society must be reorganized along international socialist lines—on the basis of social need, not private profit. The IYSSE fights to unify students, youth and the working class around the world in a common struggle for socialism.

We hold these weekly meetings where all are welcome to partake and join in the discussion and learn about how they can get involved.
