Join ECG – Your FREE Weekly English Conversation Group!
Practice English in a fun, friendly, and judgment-free space. Led by trained student volunteers, ECG offers casual conversations both on WSU campuses and online. All levels welcome!
Meet Maggie:
Hi! I’m Maggie - a Social Work student passionate about creating community and supporting others. I volunteer as a MATES Mentor and a facilitator for the English Conversation Group, and I’m also a member of Campus Bible Ministries (CBM), where I’ve found connection and purpose. I enjoy walking my dog Daisy, painting with watercolours, reading theology books, and cooking healthy meals. What I love most about volunteering is seeing international students grow in their confidence week by week. It’s incredibly rewarding to create a space where people feel safe, included, and empowered to express themselves and connect with others.
