A little about this mentor:
Have you ever thought about something you wanted to do so badly, but couldn't because you did not take any action? You knew exactly what you should do and how you could achieve it, but one thing was missing: taking the action. I, myself, was in this situation (and still happens quite often :) ). Mentoring someone is not only about saying what they need to do or even treating as a teacher-student relationship (get away from that). I think it is related to being there for someone who needs direction, showing and giving the necessary support and listening openly and widely for every small word shared (kindness included). At the end, I am just another student who came from a international background and is currently living a lot of experiences in university (I can assure you, these experiences are amazing and unforgettable). Last thing: do not forget to record your experiences here (I love to take photos in general and randomly of me, people or scenarios), even if you are someone who is not into pictures (make sure you record your amazing experiences during UNI days somehow).
Further Leadership Skills: Student Representative Secretary of Science Society (WSU)
Secretary of Environmental Collective (WSU)
Treasurer of Music Club (WSU)
Member of Formula SAE team (Department of Software & Robotics) (WSU)
Assigned Leader of Community Kitchen (WSU & Young Christian Workers)
PASS Facilitator (Computer Networking)
A little about their culture: I would say a very open culture to any type of diversity (gender, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, religion).
