A little about this mentor:

I chose my course for both practical reasons and a genuine interest in the discipline itself. My long-term goal is to become a scholar, but not one who is disconnected from how the real world works, this course feels like an important opportunity to ground my academic thinking in lived experience. Outside of study, I enjoy going to the gym, although when the workload gets heavy, I also give myself permission to rest,,,after all, cognitive work burns energy too. As a mentor, I aim to be approachable and honest, and to remind you that feeling unsure is completely normal, and that you don't have to do university alone.
