A little about this mentor:

Hi, I'm Micakyla! I'm a second-year Bachelor of Social Work student with a career goal of becoming a Hospital Social Worker, though this might change as I progress through my studies. I chose to study Social Work as I'm passionate about advocating for at-risk individuals in the community who need essential support. Outside my studies, I love listening to music and discovering new artists or genres, reading manga, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Starting uni marks a significant change, and I can relate to your experience as I've faced similar challenges and been very overwhelmed. As a mentor, I'm here to help you ease your transition to uni life by offering support, sharing helpful advice, and guiding you both academically and socially!

A little about their culture: My background is Filipino, but I was born and raised here in Australia.
