The Disability Collective is for carers and students who identify as having a temporary or permanent disability. The collective is open to all carers and students who have sensory, intellectual, physical, mental and/or other disabilities or chronic health conditions. The role of the Disability Collective is to remove discrimination on the basis of having a disability and engage in activities and advocacy that will further develop accessibility and representation for/of students with disabilities at Western Sydney University.

The collective also serves to assist students within the university with a disability or carer role to have a presence in student representation.

The Environment Collective (EC) aims to move our efforts beyond the false dichotomy of built and natural environments, recognising the indivisibility of our ecological, social and economic realities. As signatory to the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Higher Education Commitment, Western is committed to promoting the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which means acting according to environmentally sustainable principles. We will hold the University accountable, advocating for the integrity and rights of Nature, and the physical and psychological benefits which flow from immersion in thriving ecosystems.
We have already begun to develop collaborations with the SDSN Youth chapter at Western, the student club P.E.A.C.E. Unlimited which is working towards the SDGs at Western, Hawkesbury Council Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee, Sustainable Futures, and Chaplaincy. We are implementing initiatives aimed at eradicating single-use plastics (cutlery, straws, etc) on campus, discounts for bringing your own coffee cup, avoiding use of plastic bottles at all events, changing air con / heating temperatures by 2 degrees, and installing a student-community food garden.
The EC will continue to strive to empower the Uni – and ourselves – to adopt ethical and sustainable practices for the sake of Humanity and our Home.

The Ethno-Cultural Collective is a student led body with a scope that goes beyond that of a single cultural club, but aims to create an autonomous, safe, and inclusive space for students that facilitates discussion around the politics and subsequent injustices that impact ethnic minorities and people of colour.
The ECC would also be a place where students work to create campaigns and advocate on issues specifically related to racism and discrimination.
This collective is open to students who identify as being a having an Ethno-cultural background; a Person of Colour (POC), or identifies as having a Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) background.

The Western Sydney University Indigenous Student Council aims to create a sense of community and inclusion for all Indigenous students from all Western Sydney University campuses. The council will manage and organise social, recreational, community and cultural activities in collaboration with members for members. The council will drive and manage dialogue on topical issues, social awareness and environmental matters for members. The ICS will also participate in programs which actively give back to community.

The Queer Collective is a safe space for sex and gender diverse students and staff of Western Sydney University. It is not just a political organisation which advocates for rights of LGBTQA+ individuals but it also helps people of the community connect with each other and socialise in the events organised by the collective.

The Residential Student Collective (RSC) is a platform established by the Student Representative Council (SRC) which advocates for social and policy changes to support and engage students living on campus at Western Sydney University. By fostering equity and advocating for systemic change, the RSC ensures that there is an active student voice in addressing issues impacting the university's residential community and their peers.

The Residential Student Collective offers representation for all Residential students from all campuses, disciplines, student activities, and all backgrounds, cultures & identities of students.

Women Collective mission is to empower women by providing a supportive platform for social, political, and cultural engagement. We strive to engage in discussions, activities and events that will further develop women's status in society. We aim to focus on supporting women who have a background of violence, whether it's sexual, mental, physical, or emotional.
