"This club is in affiliation with EWB Australia and will come under the NSW region. see https://www.ewb.org.au/explore/chapters/nsw for more information about the chapter. As a Western Sydney University club we will develop our own contributions to EWB. The aims of the Student Club are:

i. Bring together like-minded Western Sydney University Students for the purpose of improving their social and cultural experience through offering member events and activities focused on benefiting the community as a whole.
ii. Increase student awareness of sustainable development goals, and the needs of the long list of developing countries as declared by the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
iii. Give students the tools to address issues highlighted by the sustainable development goals.
iv. Help students learn how to communicate engineering knowledge to help people to lead a life free from poverty.
v. To encourage integrity, upholding of community values, sustainability, respect, learning and quality in students.
vi. To build lifelong friendships and collaboration between students based on a common desire to help others.
vii. Provide an opportunity for Western Sydney University Students to actively participate in Engineers Without Borders events as part of a formal Western Sydney University Student Club."

We are a group of revolutionary socialists. We stand with the 99% worldwide who are fighting back against the 1%. We host meetings on left wing politics, history and theory. We organise left wing activism in the city around social justice campaigns, including refugee rights, LGBTI equal rights and climate justice.

Club aims:
1. To promote progressive, especially socialist politics on campus.
2. To promote alternative media on campus through discussion of Red Flag newspaper and Red
Flag books.
3. To provide a forum to discuss and clarify political and historical ideas about Marxism.

The Sydney Planners Society (SPS) aims to provide a platform for students, staff, alumni, and other individuals interested in the planning industry to develop critical thinking, create comprehensive knowledge, and enrich their global citizenship. As a non-profit club affiliated with Western Sydney University, SPS is dedicated to promoting social inclusion, and diversity through equitable development projects, and educating members on domestic and foreign developments and policies that depict change in the physical and urban environment. SPS aims to achieve these goals through a variety of activities, including social gatherings, professional networking events, bi-monthly/annual articles or journals, interactive events or game nights, annual conferences, industry talks, career days, external delegations, in/ex-cursions, general meetings, hybrid events, book club, and event collaborations with other universities. Through producing educational material, events, and networking opportunities, SPS provides a "space for those interested in planning" at WSU, helping members to stay informed and engaged with contemporary planning issues.

Goals:

The Nursing and Midwifery Students Society purpose is to inspire and connect nursing students and university members alike. It was made by students who want to ensure a positive and beneficial experience for their peers. It is a university-wide initiative located in Liverpool, Parramatta South, Campbelltown, Hawkesbury and Online domains. The society will encompass three main categories: Student Life and events, Education and Employment opportunities and platforming of Student Voice.

Student Life and Events:
Through our Student Life and Events team, students are able to experience their university life to its full potential. Friendships will form, memories will be created and most importantly the development of one’s connection with their peers will flourish through events. University can be so much more than studying and work.

Through our Education and Employment team, students will be able to access material which will benefit their main purpose in coming to university. Through our Student Voice team, our society creates a bridge between students and the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SoNM). We are able to create strong connections and work together with university officials to take charge of our university experience.

Our mission is to expose the student body to the physical sciences through outreach programs and communications. We aim to communicate the newest physics concepts and knowledge, as well as the history behind physical discoveries. By making these communications, we hope to generate interest within the student body, as well as the communities surrounding Western Sydney University. We also aim to strengthen the bonds between institutions by organising programs with physics clubs at other universities. This cross-institutional approach will foster collaboration and improve relations. As a physics club, we are representatives of the Australian Institute of Physics, and aim to portray their key values and missions to the student body.
